Mo is a dance film about being alone in a place that seems to have no end.
Set within an imagined desert, the work follows a body that keeps searching for balance, direction and somewhere to belong. She falls, gets up, reaches out and pulls back. At times, her shadow feels almost like another presence beside her — something she follows, avoids, or cannot quite leave behind.
The Chinese title Mo (漠) can mean desert, distance and silence. The film moves between all three, asking what happens when there is nothing left to rely on except the body’s instinct to keep going.
"In a space that offers no answer, the body learns to survive the weight of emptiness."
