Potted Plant begins with a simple image: a plant taken from its original soil and placed somewhere else. ​ The work looks at people who leave familiar places and try to build a life in a new environment. On stage, the dancers gather, separate, support one another and lose each other again. Their bodies are constantly adjusting — to the space, to the group, and to the people around them. ​ Presented by Shenzhen University of Arts； Shenzhen Dancers Association； performed at Wuzhen Theatre Festival, October 2022.
